Azerbaijan’s Ali Tsokayev claimed gold in the 86 kg freestyle category at the ongoing Yaşar Doğu, Vehbi Emre, and Hamit Kaplan Memorial Tournament in Kocaeli, Türkiye.
Tsokayev won all his matches, earning the top podium spot. This brings Azerbaijan’s total medal count at the tournament to eight, including medals in Greco-Roman and women’s wrestling.
Five Azerbaijani wrestlers are set to compete on the final day.
