Azerbaijani Paralympic shooters Kamran Zeynalov and Aybeniz Babayeva booked a place in the forthcoming World Para Shooting Championships set to take place in South Korea.
They scrapped their way into the World Cup after performing brilliant performance at the Grand Prix Novi Sad held in Serbia.
Zeynalov won the gold medal in the 10-meter air pistol (P1) and finished the 4th in the 50-meter air pistol (P4), while Babayeva, a participant of the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games, finished the race in 4th and 8th places, respectively.
The World Shooting Para Sport Championships will be held in Changwon, South Korea, on September 3-14, 2026. The World Championships will offer quota allocation for the LA 2028 Paralympic Games.
