Azerbaijani figure skater Vladimir Litvintsev will kick off his campaign at the 25th Winter Olympic Games held in Italy, competing in the men’s figure skating short program.
The competition, set to take place at Milan’s Mediolanum Forum arena, will begin at 18:30 Baku time.
Azerbaijan’s other representative at the Winter Olympic Games, alpine skier Anastasia Papatoma, will join the Games this week. She is scheduled to compete in the giant slalom on February 15 and the slalom event on February 18. Both competitions will be held in the renowned Italian resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo.
The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, which brought together the world’s elite winter sports athletes, will conclude on February 22.
