Chinese cities of Beijing, Tianjin, and Xi’an hosted an international seminar on digital economy within Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Orkhan Mammadov, Director of the Branch Network Management Department of “Azerpost” LLC, attended at the event organized by the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of the People's Republic of China.

During the event, the participants discussed key topics such as digital economy, the application of artificial intelligence technologies, e-government services, smart city solutions, green digital infrastructure, and the development of industrial internet, as well as exchanged views and experience in these directions.

The seminar also saw presentation of innovative projects from leading Chinese technology companies such as Lenovo, Tencent, Siasun, and others.

Orkhan Mammadov also took part in the Digital Economy Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization held in Tianjin, as well as the international exhibition on promoting advanced manufacturing chains in Xi’an. Additionally, opportunities for cooperation were identified regarding the creation of green digital infrastructure and the application of artificial intelligence technologies based on the Chinese model. Future collaboration formats were also discussed, with a proposal for Azerbaijani specialists to train at Chinese companies.
