In January–August 2025, Azerbaijan’s main oil pipelines transported a total of 24,566.5 thousand tons of crude oil, according to the State Statistical Committee.
The Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) main export pipeline accounted for 18,356.5 thousand tons, or 74.7 percent of the total volume transported during the period.
Of the oil shipped via the BTC pipeline, 84.3 percent—approximately 15.5 million tons—was produced in Azerbaijan, while the remaining 15.7 percent - around 2.89 million tons - originated from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
