A delegation of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations visited Türkiye on November 26-27.
As part of the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation met with representatives of the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) to expand the existing cooperation and exchange experiences.
The meeting held with AFAD senior executives and experts featured comprehensive presentations and an exchange of views on key topics such as national emergency legislation, strategic planning, civil defense, as well as prevention, preparation, and elimination of consequences of emergencies.
The delegation also met with Ali Hamza Pehlivan, Head of AFAD, who praised the current level of cooperation between the two brotherly nations' emergency management agencies, reiterating his commitment to continuing efforts to strengthen relations.
