Zamin Aliyev, Consul General of Azerbaijan in Kars, met with İhsan Selim Baydaş, Governor of Türkiye's Rize Province.
The sides discussed contribution of the two brotherly countries’ regions to the development of economic and trade cooperation, as well as ways to deepen social and cultural interaction between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
During the meeting, also attended by Tamerlan Taghiyev, Trade Representative of Azerbaijan in Türkiye, the parties also exchanged views on the opportunities offered by the Iyidere Logistics Center in Rize, noting that the center would make a significant contribution to boosting international trade, reducing transportation costs, as well as accelerating export and import processes.
As part of his visit to Rize, Consul General Zamin Aliyev also met with Azerbaijani students studying at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University.
