A delegation from “Azerbaijan Railways” Closed Joint-Stock Company (ADY), led by Deputy Chairman Arif Aghayev, has paid a working visit to China to assess logistics infrastructure and bolster international cooperation.

As part of the visit, the delegation toured the Xi’an International Trade and Logistics Park (XITLP) and the Chengdu International Railway Port (CIRP), two major inland dry ports in western China. ADY representatives examined infrastructure facilities, reviewed the application of modern logistics solutions, and held discussions with port authorities.

The meetings focused on increasing freight flows along the Middle Corridor, boosting multimodal transport capacity, and exploring long-term strategic cooperation.

Xi’an and Chengdu are key economic and transportation hubs in western China, playing a critical role in strengthening trade and logistics links between China and Europe via the Middle Corridor.
