The Turkic states must continue to enhance cooperation across a range of strategic sectors, including the green economy, tourism, security, and environmental initiatives. This is critical for ensuring sustainable development and regional prosperity, said Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), as he addressed the meeting held as part of the 2nd meeting of OTS Ministers and Heads of Institutions in Charge of Family Affairs and Social Policy.

The OTS Secretary General highlighted the central role of shared values in advancing regional collaboration.

Noting that one of the core values underpinning our collaboration is the family institution,” Kubanychbek Omuraliev stated: “In the Turkic world, the family has always been regarded as sacred. Respect for elders, family solidarity, and mutual responsibility are deeply rooted traditions that have been passed down through generations.”

He also emphasized the urgency of preserving these cultural values amid modern-day challenges. “Safeguarding these principles and ensuring they are passed on to generations to come remains a key priority,” the OTS Secretary General added.
