The Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest 2026 featuring digital technologies, AI, cybersecurity, and cyber diplomacy was held in Bucharest, Romania.

The three-day summit, held in the Romanian Parliament, was organized by the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – "ICI Bucharest" with the support of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies and the Romanian Government.

The event was attended by heads of state agencies, ministers, ambassadors, representatives of international organizations, as well as experts from the private sector.

Addressing the event, Tural Mammadov, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Special Communications and information Security State Service, highlighted the strategic importance of cyberspace in the modern security environment, the role of cyber diplomacy in the challenges posed by digital environment, and the importance of interstate cooperation.

As part of the summit, participants exchanged views on digital transformation, cybersecurity, the application of AI, and ensuring sustainability in the information environment.
