Azerbaijani artists performed with a concert program titled “Our brotherhood is eternal” in the Turkish city of Kayseri.

Organized as a project of the Azerbaijani Cultural Center at the country’s Embassy in Türkiye, supported and hosted by the Azerbaijani House in Shusha, Türkiye’s Kayseri University, the event was dedicated to the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year holiday.

The speakers included Samir Abbasov, Director of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center; Kurtuluş Karamustafa, Rector of Kayseri University, and Elshan Ganbarov, Head of Azerbaijani House in Shusha.

The artistic performances were met with great interest by the audience.

Gulyanag Mammadova, People’s Artist of both Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, together with Fakhri Kazim Nijat, soloist of the Rashid Behbudov State Song Theatre, and opera singer Fidan Huseynova, delighted the audience with renditions of Azerbaijan folk songs.

The audience enjoyed the performances of the “Azerbaijan ruzgari” mugham poetry group and the “Zangezur” folk dance ensemble.
