The “ART CAPITAL 2026” art exhibition, organized by combining four historic salons in one of Europe’s and the world’s most prestigious exhibition venues—the Grand Palais in Paris—continues.
Works by Nigar Narimanbeyova, who carries forward the creative legacy of the renowned Azerbaijani artist Vidadi Narimanbeyov, are being exhibited in the “Salon des Artistes Français.” The pieces submitted to this salon are selected each year by a jury of academics, and only works of high artistic merit are deemed worthy of exhibition.
Narimanbeyova is the only Azerbaijani artist to have been consistently represented in this legendary salon for the fifth consecutive year. Her work titled “Kichik Peri” (“Little Fairy”) has attracted significant interest from exhibition visitors.
The “ART CAPITAL” exhibition is regarded as one of the largest and most prestigious contemporary art projects in Europe and globally. The Azerbaijani artist’s continued success here reflects the growing recognition of Azerbaijan’s art on the international stage.
Founded in 1881, the “Salon des Artistes Français” is considered the legal successor of the legendary Paris Salon, established three centuries earlier by the French kings and the Académie des Beaux-Arts. Participation in this salon is widely regarded as a mark of high esteem and prestige in the global art world.
