Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Culture Murad Huseynov met with Deputy Minister of Türkiye’s Culture and Tourism Batuhan Mumcu at Atatürk Cultural Centre in Istanbul.

The meeting focused on cultural relations between the two countries, the implementation of the roadmap signed for cooperation between the ministries, and participation in international festivals and cultural events. The sides also discussed expanding cooperation among cultural collectives and the mutual exchange of professional experience.

The discussions also addressed the projects of the Yunus Emre Institute in Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Türkiye, aimed at promoting national culture and shared heritage.

The ministers highlighted the deeply rooted brotherly relations and explored ways to further develop strong cultural ties. They emphasized that cooperation now covers all fields of culture and underscored the importance of joint projects to be implemented in the future.
