A delegation from Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) CJSC met with officials from China’s Jiangsu Province and Lianyungang City at the Baku International Sea Trade Port.
The meeting focused on Azerbaijan Railways’s efforts to develop international transport corridors, particularly the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (also known as the Middle Corridor) and the strategic role of the Baku port in global cargo transit.
It has been reported that in Lianyungang city, an important component of the "Belt and Road" mega-project, work is currently underway to effectively coordinate the logistics networks of the "New Eurasian Land-Sea Transport Corridor" and the Middle Corridor.
