On September 5, Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Sisi Al-Buainain, Secretary-General of the Council of Representatives of the Kingdom of Bahrain, visited the Alley of Honors and paid tribute to the memory of National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, architect and founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state, Heydar Aliyev, and laid flowers at his grave.
Later, Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Sisi Al- Buainain, visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity.
The Secretary-General also visited the Eternal Flame monument.
He then enjoyed a panoramic view of Baku and was briefed on the history of the Alley of Martyrs, as well as the city's redevelopment efforts.
