Azerbaijani, Kazakh Ministries of Justice discuss cooperation

Farid Ahmadov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Justice, met with his Kazakh counterpart Yerlan Sarsembayev.

The sides emphasized the high level of strategic partnership relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of mutual cooperation.

They also mentioned the contribution of the documents signed between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan to expanding cooperation, highlighting the importance of providing assistance in the legal field and exchanging practical experience on the basis of international agreements.

The parties expressed their interest in cooperation in the field of justice within the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

The meeting also featured discussions on the implementation of court decisions and the application of the special enforcement institution, notary activities, digitalization and application of artificial intelligence in the field of justice, as well as the use of citizen-oriented digital solutions, and the continuation of mutual exchange of experience in the fields of forensic examination.

Both ministers agreed on providing opportunities for judges from Kazakhstan to train at the Justice Academy of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to strengthen the institutional foundations of cooperation.
