On December 16, a delegation led by Igor Babushkin, Governor of Astrakhan Oblast of the Russian Federation, visited the "Brotherhood Cemetery" Eternal Memorial Complex in Baku.
The delegation paid tribute to the memory of the heroes who died fighting fascism during World War II and laid flowers at the memorial.
The visitors then proceeded to the monument dedicated to the outstanding intelligence officer and Hero of the Soviet Union, Richard Sorge, where they also laid flowers.
