Azerbaijan and Morocco are continuing to make progress on the draft agreement “On the Promotion and Mutual Protection of Investments.”
The issue was discussed during the meeting between Azerbaijani Ambassador to Morocco Nazim Samadov with Moroccan Minister of Economy and Finance Nadia Fettah Alaoui.
The meeting emphasized the importance of further expanding the legal framework for further development of cooperation.
The sides exchanged views on the implementation of the Convention on the avoidance of tax evasion and elimination of double taxation in relation to income taxes signed in 2018.
The Azerbaijani ambassador invited the Moroccan minister to Baku to participate in the 2026 annual meeting of the Islamic Development Bank Group to be held in June this year.
