A roundtable meeting was held at the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan as part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s business mission to the country.
The discussions focused on cooperation and investment opportunities in the agrarian sector, the favorable business environment, government support mechanisms, key agricultural areas, and related topics.
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov emphasized the strategic importance of Azerbaijan-US cooperation in agriculture. He noted that, thanks to the political will of the heads of state, bilateral relations have reached the level of strategic partnership, creating broad opportunities to further develop collaboration in the sector.
Participants were briefed on the dynamic pace of agricultural development in Azerbaijan, its main priorities, and state support mechanisms.
Representatives of U.S. companies praised Azerbaijan’s favorable business environment and macroeconomic stability, expressing interest in expanding cooperation. Potential projects were discussed, and questions from participating companies were addressed during the roundtable.
