On March 10, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received the non-resident Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman Saif bin Rashid bin Saif Al-Jahwari.
At the meeting, the sides reviewed the current state of Azerbaijan–Oman relations and explored future cooperation opportunities. They highlighted the significance of enhancing political dialogue, expanding economic and trade ties, and deepening collaboration in cultural and humanitarian areas.
The discussions also covered regional and international issues, including rising tensions and military escalation in the Middle East. Both sides expressed mutual support for efforts to evacuate Omani citizens via Azerbaijan and to facilitate the evacuation of Azerbaijani citizens via Oman.
The two underscored the importance of further developing relations and expanding ties to foster regional security, noting the significance of high- and top-level visits.
