“I’m very glad to visit Azerbaijan again,” Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz told journalists.
Describing the relationship between Türkiye and Azerbaijan as extremely special, he added: “It is not a typical bilateral relationship, but one grounded in the alliance principles enshrined in the Shusha Declaration. As National Leader Heydar Aliyev famously stated, these relations are based on the ‘One nation, two states’ principle.”
“For this reason, reciprocal visits are regular. Notably, the shared and strong vision of our heads of state constitutes the cornerstone of our relations,” Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz emphasized.
