Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with a delegation led by Saeed Bin Mubarak Al Hajeri, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, in Gabala.

The meeting featured broad discussions on the prospects of friendly and strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and the UAE.

Hailing the high level of political dialogue, the parties reviewed opportunities to further enhance cooperation in areas including economy, trade, investment, energy (including renewable energy), transport and logistics, advanced technologies, education, and others.

Jeyhun Bayramov provided detailed information on Azerbaijan’s favorable investment climate and major infrastructure projects implemented in the region, highlighting the importance of participation of UAE companies in ongoing projects in the country.

The meeting also saw an exchange of views on regional and international issues of mutual interest, with both sides emphasizing the need to further strengthen cooperation within international platforms.
