The visit of representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan to the liberated territories has commenced. The delegation is accompanied by Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration.
As part of the visit, participants first visited the Khojaly Genocide Memorial in the city of Khojaly.

It was noted that the Khojaly Genocide Memorial was established in accordance with an order signed by President Ilham Aliyev in February 2025. Its purpose is to commemorate the victims of the Khojaly tragedy, convey historical facts to future generations, and preserve national memory. The project was implemented based on a concept developed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
