Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with a delegation led by Olivier Boucal, Senegal’s Minister of Public Service and Public Service Reform.

Ulvi Mehdiyev highlighted the “ASAN Xidmet” centers established on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev and the projects implemented in the field of social innovations.

Commending the “ASAN Xidmet” service, the Senegalese minister underscored its pivotal role in ensuring public service accessibility for the population.

Then, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Public Service and Public Service Reform of the Republic of Senegal.

The Memorandum envisages the application of the “ASAN Xidmet” experience in the Republic of Senegal, the facilitation of internship opportunities for civil servants of Senegal at the “ASAN Xidmet” centers, as well as exchange of experience in the field of public services delivery by experts of the State Agency with the Senegalese side.

The guests also familiarized themselves with the activities of the “ASAN Xidmet” center, the ASAN Innovative Development Center, the “INNOLAND” Incubation and Acceleration Center, the “Bilim Baku” center, and the Mobile ASAN service.
