The regional qualifying round of the SPE PetroBowl Championship for Russia and the Caspian region was held at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) with the organisational support of the SPE Azerbaijan Chapter.
Seven university teams from Russia and the Caspian region took part in the prestigious academic competition: Atyrau Oil Training Center, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Baku Higher Oil School, Kazakh-British Technical University, Satbayev University, Industrial University of Tyumen, and Tyumen State University.
Winners of the qualifying rounds will have the opportunity to participate in the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE), which will be held this year in Houston, U.S..
