A delegation led by Maria Victoria Romero Caballero, Ambassador of Mexico to Azerbaijan, visited the Azerbaijan Sports Academy (ASA).

ASA Rector Fuad Hajiyev briefed the guests on the Academy’s history, its scientific and educational environment, and its areas of international cooperation.

He noted that the Academy is interested in developing academic ties and establishing long-term cooperation with leading higher education institutions in Mexico.

Maria Victoria Romero Caballero emphasized that cooperation in science and education is an important means of fostering mutual understanding and closer ties between peoples.

The sides discussed prospects for cooperation between ASA and leading Mexican higher education institutions.

They also exchanged views on signing memoranda of understanding, establishing dual degree programs, academic exchanges, and implementing joint academic and scientific projects.

The Mexican delegation also toured the Academy’s modern teaching and research facilities, including the MediaLab and the Sports Medicine Research Laboratory.
