Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, met with Leah Gutierrez, Director General of the Central and West Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The meeting highlighted Azerbaijan’s progress in economic diversification, private sector development, SME support, and tax reforms.
The parties explored cooperation opportunities in public-private partnerships, digitalization, and human capital development, and exchanged views on regional initiatives, green energy corridors, transport and energy links, and other areas of mutual interest.
The meeting outlined the successful continuation of the partnership between Azerbaijan and the Asian Development Bank, as well as evaluated prospects for future cooperation.
