The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan held a ceremony to present the "Excellent Healthcare Worker" badge to Dr. Mickey Gideon, Director of the Pediatric Neurosurgery Department at the Soroka Medical Center.
As reported to AZERTAC by the Ministry of Health's Media and Communications Department, Elana Kantor, founder of the "Israeli Pediatrics Week in Azerbaijan" project, was awarded the Ministry of Health's Certificate of Honor for the successful implementation of the project in our country, her many years of fruitful work, and her contribution to the development of Azerbaijani-Israeli cooperation in the field of medicine.
Speaking at the event, Health Minister Teymur Musayev emphasized that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel in healthcare has been successfully developing in recent years. The minister noted that the exchange of experience between medical institutions and specialists from the two countries, scientific and practical cooperation, and ongoing training projects are making a significant contribution to the development of the healthcare system.
Minister of Health Teymur Musayev presented the awards, congratulated the recipients, and wished them continued success in their professional endeavors. He noted that expanding international cooperation in healthcare is crucial for the development of Azerbaijan's healthcare system.
In turn, Dr. Mickey Gideon and Elana Kantor expressed gratitude for the high level of trust shown and emphasized that they will continue to make efforts to further develop cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel in the field of healthcare.
