The feature film "Ali and Nino" was screened at the University of Sheffield to celebrate February 2 – the Day of Azerbaijani Youth. The event was held with the support of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora and at the initiative of the university's Azerbaijani Student Society. The screening was attended by both Azerbaijani and foreign students.

Society head Turana Abdullayeva noted that the primary goal of the screening was to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage, history, and multicultural values. She emphasized that such events not only strengthen cultural awareness among young people but also create opportunities to understand and appreciate diverse cultures.

Youth networking facilitates the exchange of ideas and experiences, paving the way for future collaborations.

Currently, more than 10 Azerbaijani Student Societies are active across universities in the United Kingdom.
