Vugar Suleymanov, Chairman of the Board of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA), met with a U.S. delegation led by Abraham Hamadeh, Member of the House of Representatives.
The U.S. delegation was briefed on the ANAMA’s activities, the mine problem facing Azerbaijan, as well as the large-scale humanitarian demining operations.
The sides also exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation in humanitarian demining.
