The State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations of Azerbaijan arranged an Iftar ceremony in the Turkish city of Kars.
The event was organized with the support of the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Kars and the Kars Governor's Office.
Addressing the ceremony, Azerbaijan's Consul General in Kars Zamin Aliyev noted that such initiatives strengthen the unity among the Azerbaijani citizens living abroad.
Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee, emphasized that the Azerbaijan-Türkiye brotherhood has reached its highest peak based on the principle of "One nation, two states."
In his remarks, Ziya Polat, Kars Governor, and Ötüken Senger, Mayor of Kars, highlighted the essence of solidarity during Ramadan, speaking about the history and spiritual values that unite the two countries.
The event concluded with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and an Iftar prayer.
