The ANEA2025 - First International Congress of Azerbaijan Neurosurgeons concluded in Baku on Sunday.

The Congress featured panel sessions on the themes such as "Vascular Neurosurgery," "Neurooncology," "Neuroanatomy," " Spinal Neurosurgery," as well as a symposium.

The First Congress of the Azerbaijan Society of Neurosurgeons is one of the important events organized to bring together specialists in the field of neurosurgery and exchange scientific and practical experience.

The two-day event brought together over 300 specialists from 15 countries - Türkiye, Greece, Argentina, Brazil, Italy, the United Kingdom, the U.S., Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Albania, Russia, Serbia, Austria, Georgia and Chile, as well as Azerbaijan. Over the two days, 60 speakers made presentations on various topics, and engaged in live discussions with the participants.

The main goal of this congress is to discuss treatment methods in accordance with international standards in the field of neurosurgery, apply innovative technologies and contribute to the development of this field in Azerbaijan.
