On July 23, Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with George Deek, Ambassador of the State of Israel to the country, as he completes his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov thanked Ambassador George Deek for his productive diplomatic activity in Azerbaijan, wishing him success in his future endeavors.

The meeting focused on the bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel, as well as the situation in the region.

The sides praised bilateral ties across political, economic, trade, energy, investment, and humanitarian domains, highlighting wide prospects for further development.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister noted that the current tensions in the Middle East pose grave concern, adding that Azerbaijan supports efforts aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region, and is willing to contribute to this process.

Ambassador Deek underscored that he would always remember his mission as the Ambassador of Israel to Azerbaijan over the past six years, expressing gratitude for the support he had received during his tenure.

The meeting also addressed other issues of mutual interest.
