"Relations between Belgium and Azerbaijan have been steadily developing in recent years, and we are working to strengthen these ties across various sectors," Ambassador of Belgium to Azerbaijan Julien de Fraipont told AZERTAC.
According to him, economic cooperation is one of the main directions, and Belgian companies express keen interest in various sectors in Azerbaijan.
Noting that I can particularly cite areas such as the transport sector, logistics, green energy, and port infrastructure as examples, the Belgium diplomat added: “We have global companies operating in these fields, and together with their partners in Azerbaijan, they are implementing projects in the region. This collaboration also serves to form a long-term partnership based on mutual trust between the two countries. We also intend to support these processes.”
