A working meeting was held here between a delegation of the Moldova Azerbaijanis Congress and Igor Grosu, the incoming chairman of the Moldova-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group who replaced Vitalie Jakot in this post.

The Azerbaijani delegation expressed deep gratitude to Vitalie Jacot, who constantly supported the initiatives of the Moldova Azerbaijanis Congress, noting that his attention, kindness, and personal involvement in the life of the Azerbaijani community had been an important support for the Azerbaijani diaspora.

The meeting covered discussions on the current issues of cooperation, plans to strengthen mutual understanding and expansion of communication between the Azerbaijani diaspora and Moldovan state institutions.
