“We just celebrated the 10 year anniversary of the C5+1 regional diplomatic platform. During the C5+1 meetings in D.C. earlier this month, we recognized Armenia and Azerbaijan’s efforts to expand opportunities for regional cooperation and prosperity,” said the United States Department of State spokesperson in a response to the inquiry from AZERTAC’s corresponding bureau regarding the opportunities for Azerbaijan's participation in the Central Asian countries-US (C5+1) cooperation format.
“Both the United States and Central Asian countries are interested in new opportunities arising from the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) and durable peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We intend to work together to maximize those opportunities,” the spokesperson added.
