Azerbaijani, Georgian youth organizations ink memorandum of cooperation

On December 4, the Youth Union of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) and the Youth Organization of the ruling Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia Party signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The document envisages strengthening partnership among young people and further deepening cooperation between the two countries. Under the agreement, the two organizations will collaborate in a number of areas.

The memorandum also provides for the creation of new opportunities for Azerbaijani and Georgian youth, aimed at developing education and skills, organizing exchange programs, holding joint conferences, projects, and youth events, and promoting educational and professional development programs, sports management, cultural projects, and volunteer activities.

The ongoing exchange of experiences and ideas is expected to create conditions for implementing new initiatives based on shared goals in the future.

The document was signed by Giorgi Chakvetadze, Chairman of the Georgian Dream Party’s Youth Organization, and Bakhtiyar Islamov, Chairman of the YAP Youth Union.
