Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Milli Majlis, and Natalya Kochanova, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, held a telephone conversation.
During the call, the sides exchanged views on the events taking place in the region.
Natalya Kochanova expressed her concern over Iran`s drone attacks targeting the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and expressed her regret over the damage caused to civilians during this attack and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
During the telephone conversation, the parties emphasized the importance of continuing dialogue and mutual activity between the two countries` parliaments and exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
