Rashad Ismayilov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, met with the United Nations delegation led by Anacláudia Rossbach, UN Under-Secretary-General, Executive Director of the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat).
The meeting focused on the current state and future prospects for cooperation in environmental protection between Azerbaijan and UN. The officials also reviewed preparations for the upcoming 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) and the World Environment Day scheduled to take place in Azerbaijan.
