A Latvian delegation led by Armands Krauze, Minister of Agriculture, who is visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the 9th meeting of the Azerbaijan–Latvia Intergovernmental Commission on economic, scientific, technical, and cultural cooperation, visited the Alley of Honors in Baku.

The delegation paid tribute to National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev by laying flowers at his grave.

They then proceeded to the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity, laying flowers at their graves.

The guests also visited Victory Park, where they laid a wreath at the Victory Monument. They were briefed on the significance of the park, which was established to commemorate the heroism of the Azerbaijani people during the Patriotic War, honor the memory of the martyrs, and preserve the legacy of the nation’s historic victory.

During the visits, the Latvian delegation was accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and other representatives.
