Paris hosts another meeting of Coordination Council of French Azerbaijanis

A meeting of the Coordination Council of French Azerbaijanis was held at the Azerbaijani Embassy’s cultural center in Paris.

The event brought together Azerbaijanis living across various cities in France.

The meeting started with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and a minute of silence was observed in memory of the patriots who sacrificed their lives for the country’s territorial integrity.

Leyla Abdullayeva, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to France, underscored the importance of the diaspora, describing this meeting as an indicator of unity and solidarity.

Touching upon the difficulties experienced between France and Azerbaijan in recent years, the ambassador emphasized that the diaspora carries a great responsibility, noting the importance of the correct presentation of the country under these circumstances.

The ambassador also highlighted the importance of the Azerbaijani diaspora in France establishing more effective collaboration with the public and taking more active action against fake news.

Vagif Seyidbayov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora, informed the participants about the efforts of the committee and the diaspora organizations in France.

The meeting then featured a video highlighting the outcomes of the committee in 2025 and the activities of the diaspora in France.
