“Following the most recent conference held in April of the previous year in Tashkent, the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement has expanded its field of activity, further enhancing its international standing,” said Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, in her address at the 5th Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network (NAM PN) taking place in Istanbul.
Sahiba Gafarova emphasized that promoting the Parliamentary Network’s role has been a key priority in her international engagements, noting that around 35 meetings have been held since April 2025 with officials and international representatives to enhance cooperation and improve the platform’s effectiveness.
