Turkish delegation visits Azerbaijan’s liberated territories

As part of a visit to Azerbaijan, a delegation led by Vice Rector of the National Defense University of the Republic of Türkiye Talat Canbolat visited the liberated territories and toured a number of historical monuments, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.

The delegation was provided with detailed information on the destruction and acts of vandalism committed by Armenian armed forces against Azerbaijani civilians, as well as on ongoing restoration, reconstruction, and rebuilding efforts in the liberated territories under the leadership of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.

Servicemen also shared their memories of the 44-day Patriotic War and other successful operations.

The Turkish delegation visited one of the military units and became acquainted with the conditions created there. They were also briefed on the combat path of units that participated in the liberation of Azerbaijani territories and the restoration of the country’s territorial integrity.

In accordance with the program, the delegation of the Turkish National Defense University will visit the Combined Arms Army.
