Ilhama Jafarli, an Azerbaijani residing in the United Kingdom, has been admitted as a member of the prestigious Worshipful Company of Educators. Her international accomplishments in surgery and contributions to education earned her a place in this respected society.
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom Elin Suleymanov and First Secretary of the Embassy Rasim Mammadov attended the presentation ceremony.
Admission to the Worshipful Company of Educators is based on strict criteria. Members are selected from among individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of education and who are actively involved in charitable and public service initiatives. New members are initially granted the status of “Freeman” and may later be elevated to the rank of full “Liveryman.”
The Worshipful Company of Educators is one of London’s newer livery companies and plays a vital role in the city’s economic and social life, particularly in the areas of education and philanthropy.
