Georgian parliamentary delegation visits Baku State University

A delegation led by Giorgi Chakvetadze, First Deputy Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee of the Georgian Parliament, visited the Baku State University (BSU).

BSU Rector Elchin Babayev noted that these meetings not only reinforce bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia but also open up new opportunities for cooperation in the fields of education and science, academic exchange, and joint research initiatives. He stressed the necessity of enhancing cooperation between BSU and Georgia`s higher education institutions.

Giorgi Chakvetadze hailed the rapid and high-level development of relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan. He expressed his confidence that the prospects for cooperation in the fields of science and education between Azerbaijan and Georgia, exchange of teachers and students, and joint scientific research would contribute to the advancement of relations between the two peoples.

During the meeting, the parties also explored ways of elevating the cooperation between BSU and Georgian higher education institutions in the fields of education and science to a new level.
