Academician Kamal Abdulla, Rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), met with Professor Ekrem Gürel, Rector of Türkiye’s Iğdır University.
The sides discussed expanding academic and cultural cooperation between the two universities. The meeting particularly focused on academic exchange, implementation of joint scientific projects, and the organization of symposiums and conferences. They also emphasized the importance of strengthening inter-university relations.
It was highlighted that on October 10, Iğdır University will host the “Dede Gorgud Panel,” featuring an opening address by Academician Kamal Abdulla. The event will also include the signing of a bilateral cooperation protocol.
Rector Ekrem Gürel expressed confidence that the meeting would further strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two universities.
