The Asian Development Bank delegation (ADB) led by Country Director for Azerbaijan Sunniya Durrani-Jamal visited the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University.
The meeting focused on prospects for joint cooperation and saw proposals on the ADB’s support mechanisms for the agricultural sector.
Rector of Azerbaijan State Agrarian University Zafar Gurbanov spoke about the importance of commercializing research in the agricultural sector, supporting innovation activities, and further developing personnel training.
In her return, Sunniya Durrani-Jamal noted the ADB’s interest in joint cooperation with the university.
The ADB delegation then got acquainted with the facilities and resources of the Azerbaijan Innovation Center, inspected the startups, and inquired about the projects.
