Azerbaijan’s Baku State University (BSU) and the Shymkent University of Kazakhstan have signed a memorandum of understanding on enhancing cooperation as a delegation led by Rector Nurlybek Seitkulov met with BSU Rector Elchin Babayev.
Rector Elchin Babayev underlined that fostering cooperation with Turkic countries, especially Kazakh higher education institutions, is one of the priority areas in the university's international relations.
Shymkent University Rector Nurlybek Seitkulov emphasized that they closely follow BSU's achievements in the field of science and education, adding that cooperation would be long-term and productive.
He underlined that they are especially interested in cooperation in pedagogical and humanitarian areas.
The memorandum envisages the implementation of joint scientific projects between the parties, the expansion of academic exchange programs, and the development of cooperation in the field of education.
