On the occasion of May 28 – the Independence Day of Azerbaijan, the TV Tower and the Bridge of Peace over the River Kura, two of the major attractions of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, were lit up with the colors of Azerbaijan’s national flag.
The illumination of the landmarks was observed with great interest by Faig Guliyev, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia, staff of the Azerbaijani Embassy, public figures, journalists, local residents, and tourists.
