Approximately 100 young people from Azerbaijan will have the opportunity to study at universities in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on scholarship, according to a statement from the TRNC Ministry of National Education regarding the outcomes of Minister of National Education Nazim Çavuşoğlu’s visit to Baku.

During the visit, the TRNC delegation also met with graduates of Northern Cyprus universities. Minister Nazim Çavuşoğlu informed them about the planned quotas allocated for Azerbaijani students to receive scholarships.

"Twenty-five Azerbaijani citizens will be able to study on scholarship at Eastern Mediterranean University, another twenty-five at the European University of Lefke, and the education costs of at least twenty students will be fully covered by the Ministry of National Education. In total, this concerns nearly 100 Azerbaijani citizens," the ministry stated.
